A Question of Evidence
A Question of Evidence
This workshop gives people the skills to conduct a behaviour-based interview which is effective, objective, transparent and legal.
Delegates learn to identify behavioural, biographical and hypothetical questions and to recognise the advantages and disadvantages of using each type of question. Delegates practise using a range of questions using a real job specification from your own organisation.
After this workshop delegates will be able to:
- Explain the difference between behavioural, biographical and hypothetical questions and be able to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each
- Devise an effective opening behavioural question, given a set of behavioural indicators
- Apply the PROBE structure, given a set of behavioural indicators and a candidate, in order to discover evidence that the candidate either does, or does not, display the behaviours required.
